I am passionate about Science, Research, Education and Cooking! I am a seasoned Scientist with training in Reproductive & Cell Biology, Immunology, Translational Medicine and Cancer Biology.
I spent productive years as a PhD candidate evaluating human ovarian autoimmunity as a cause of female infertility. My researched focused on identification and characterization of antigens involved in this disease. I developed a simple diagnostic test to screen for ovarian auto-antibodies, identified several ovarian targets and was able to demonstrate the clinical significance of these antibodies in infertility.
I currently study human cancers, identifying gamete specific biomarkers and developing novel immunotherapies for killing tumors. Groomed well with eutherian biology and xenograft mouse models and perfectionist when it comes to immunoassays, histochemistry, early mouse embryogenesis, cancer cell and molecular biology, cell cultures, cell death assays, transfections and live cell imaging. I am a people' person, have immense ability to gel with people of all ages.
Highly organized and excellent at interpersonal skills and communication. I demonstrate leadership qualities, team builder, coordinator, mentoring and networking. Pursuing an interest in combinatorial therapies for cancer targeting and treatment. And I keep up with changes in technology!
