AAAS Science Policy Fellows Professional Development Session

The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships are a unique public service and professional development opportunity for doctoral level scientists and engineers* interested in exploring the intersection of science and policy. Fellows bring a common interest in learning about science policy and willingness to apply their training in new arenas. Fellows serve in yearlong assignments in all three branches of the federal government in Washington, D.C.

For more than 40 years, scientists, social scientists, engineers and health professionals have applied their knowledge and technical expertise to policy-making at the national and international levels. Join a network of more than 3,000 current and alumni fellows impacting policy, contributing to public service and forging new careers.

Annual Postdoc Research Symposium

May 1, 2015, 9am – 6pm, Newcomb Hall


The annual Postdoctoral Research Symposium is a day-long event that provides postdocs the opportunity to share research, network, and attend professional development workshops. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to:

v  Attend conference-style workshops on various professional and career development topics.

v  Network with other postdocs, faculty, and staff during a coffee meet & greet, catered lunch, and awards reception.

v  Present research through talks and poster sessions.
