As a bacterial toxin expert and trained microbiologist, Casey brings her skills to the Moore lab to study C. difficile toxins in the organoid platform, focusing on age-related differences between the adult and infant colon. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in National Parks with her dog, reading, and talking to everyone and anyone about science.
