Keynote

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Caleb McKinney, is the Chair of the Board of Directors at the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA). In addition, he is an associate professor and associate dean of graduate and postdoctoral training & development for Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) at Georgetown University. He will share with us his experience on building a postdoc community at Georgetown and enriching the postdoc experience at the university level and from the NPA.

Highlights

The Symposium will feature a Lightning Talks Competition, Research Talks and a Resource Fair. The symposium will be followed by a reception and an awards ceremony. We hope to share our research with a broad UVA audience, celebrate interdisciplinary research, and facilitate potential collaborations among our amazing Postdoc Community.

This year the UVA Postdoctoral Research Symposium Committee has partnered with the UVA Library to publish the collection of abstracts presented at the symposium in LibraOpen, the open access repository of UVA.
